It checks to see if the person has any admin flags. It doesnt check for a specific one.

Eventually getting it into a menu is on my todo list =D

I am using v1.5.5 and having a small issue.

I'm using Sourcebans for my admin manager and having problems with the admin portion of Saysounds.

I have the admin option set to 1 but when I join my server as a non-admin I can still play them.

What I want is for only admins to have access to sounds on the server.

I cant get sourcebans to work...so I cant help with that part...but are you sure your not an admin? Do sm_who and double check.

When I logged in configured as a non-admin, I am unable to do the sm_who command.

However when I logged in configured as an admin, it says that I have root access.

Hopefully tonight I can get a friend to help so I can test it further.

are you running a windows or Linux ? i run Linux. i was able to get the admin sounds working with the latest version of mani mod & BM mod but unsuccessful with anything else.

Hi all, I saw this plugin and thoought I would give it ago, I have been an admin on cs since 1999 running sank sounds when it came around, now i'm running css so this looked good to get the whole feel back.

The problem is I have tried many different combos with sounds getting some to work, some do on their own then they stop when I add some others to the file, but they all work in their own sets when testing, but not all together, and for the life of me my join and exit sounds dont work when a player joins or exits, but I can get them to play in say by typing joinsound and exitsound.

I am running a Linux server with the latest sourcemod, metamod and steambans.

This is what I have is my server.cfg

By the way their is no errors in console saying wrong format or anything,
I have had them all working in different combos, but join, exit sounds have never worked.

I have just checked the logs and their is no errors so far.

I am running the Linux version as well. I am not having a problem with getting the sounds to work but having a problem with non-admins having access to them even though in the config file I have all the sounds set to

I verified the permissions of the user and checked it against other plugins which all work fine.
I am just having problems with this plugin.

I checked the debug logs/etc and they don't show anything amiss.

Tried these two tests:
I logged in as a non-admin and could play the sounds (unable to do sm_who and blocked from all admin functions for other plugins)
I logged in as an admin and could play the sounds. (sm_who says I'm root and allowed to all admin functions for other plugins)

PS: I'm also having the same issues with enter/exit sounds as M4GPR

Hi Rizzok, I'm not having non admin problems with the sounds, my m8 non admin joins my server and can't play the sounds, so that part works for me, just don't know why some sounds work in different situations and others don't. and the join and exit does'nt work, all though my m8 did say it worked once, but when I joined it played the exit sound how funny is that.

So lets hope this gets sorted, as it's a great plugin.
