How much Storage needed for server updates?

Okay so me and my mates are playing CSGO for fun now a days on our server hosted on AWS.

Initially I allocated 32Gigs of storage on it because I heard server files is like 28Gigs and extra storage for recorded demos.

But I noticed that whenever there is an update it downloads new server files before deleting old ones and it fails (cause 4gb FREE is not gona do it).

So how much more space should I give to it so that updates go smootly ?

We get charged for per GB storage so dont want to overpay.

It kinda depends on the size of the update.
How do you update the server?

I just use this command "app_update 740" on steamcmd as shown here : https://developer.valvesoftware.com/...dicated_Server
