ok i had the latest version of metamod installed on my server. then i added amxmodx and the i replaced the dll in the metamod folder with the metamodx dll
(its runninf on linux)
when i try to start the server it say couldntget api dll or something from the metamod dll. how do i fix it
o and when i uploaded the new dll, it has a .gz at the end

dll is for windows.
so is for linux.

gz means "gzip compression". like a zip file. you have to extract it. use winzip or winrar.

For future reference, learn how to ask good questions. Don't title your post "help me please". Write: "Metamod could not get DLL API". That's a much better and more informative title.

On linux, "tar -xfvz *.gz" should decompress the file.. I *think*

no, it's not a tarball.

gunzip metamod.gz

or whatever the file is.
