Do you think that it will be something technically possible with sourcemod and a mysql database, of course with the help of a server that will send a verification code to the player. That migh be expansive or not even possible, but it is worth asking.

Very much possible, just build a small SP script that calls HTTP API as needed. Lots of phone verification api exists but do cost based on the sms messages needed.

Also, worth noting that some players will not be willing to provide their phone number.

Me. It's just crazy to me that people are willing to share their phone numbers on the internet & then they wonder why they are getting spam calls.

I wouldn't code this, literally nobody likes phone verification anywhere and people will just go to other servers which don't have it as a requirement.

Well faceit ask for phone verification and people play it... it's a way like another to fight smurfs. But obviously it seems unrealistic for a smaller community.

Another option might be to check if the player has a faceit account. JLmelenchon, what are you trying to solve by this method?
