Shao, is it possible that you could add that when a person connects to the game, a command is automatically sent to kick the bots that are in the observer team?
I think that at one point in the game, the bots stay permanently in the observer team generating a long-term lag to the game.

Hey, just wanted to say that I used your modified Superversus together with ABM for a LAN game and it worked out great. I prefer the more detailed difficulty autoscaling and other features that Superversus provides together with ABM's bot management.

Also, if anyone has any issues with gamedata errors despite copying the updated signatures, I found out that when I copied them, the gamedata file had spaces before them instead of tabs. Replacing the spaces with tabs to match the rest of the file stopped any signature errors from happening. Might be worth to take a look.

ha! i think inferior is a bit of a strong word choice lmao. personally, i reckon the base game itself is pretty great + add the steam workshop/l4dmaps and there's basically endless content and replayability... but yeah, i do agree the people here have completely added another dimension to this game. there's so much customisation potential here to create a truly unique coop/pvp experience.
just thought i should also probably extend my appreciation to the community here at some point - thanks guys! you do some good work!

Having a problem with director_si_more "1".

When I have 8 players, I can see in my console that it says MaxSpecialInfected: 6.

When I run z_minion_limit, it also says that the limit is 6.

However I never see more than 3 special infected in the game at once. Even when I manually type z_spawn hunter x6, it only spawns 3 hunters.

I don't think this is a mod problem but a L4D2 issue. Even when I start a vanilla game and set z_minion_limit 6, I cannot spawn more than 3 SI at once.

Anyone knows how to fix this?

TO EVERYONE THAT HAS AN ISSUE WITH MAXSPECIALS NEVER SHOWING MORE THAN 2 IN THE CONSOLE

You're not crazy. I found a workaround for this issue. When you load up your server, you have to manually reload SuperVersus in the console.

PHP Code:
sm plugins reload l4d_superversus_latest.smx 
(or whatever the name of your plugin file happens to be)

After this the MaxSpecials amount in the console will go up and down accordingly with the number of survivors. If you are already playing a game, a map change after the command should have the plugin working properly. Note that doing "sm plugins refresh" doesn't work, it has to be only this plugin that is manually reloaded. This is only a workaround. I'm not sure what the root cause is, I suspect it must have something to do with the way Sourcemod loads plugins. As long as this plugin is loaded last, it will work.

That being said, whether the plugin actually spawns the max amount of special infected is a different story. I believe there have been some stating that only 3 specials spawn, and that seems to be my experience as well, although I haven't gone into testing that thoroughly yet.

Adding the command to the server.cfg won't work if you use the player/bot management features of the plugins, it won't spawn the extra bots and medkits. As long as you remember to use the command after loading your server you'll be good to go. It's possible this is only a Windows issue since not everyone runs a Linux server.

When I specify: l4d_survivor_limit 5, l4d_infected_limit 5, then bots are set. And there are five survivors. How to make the bot create when players connect, and not just when the map starts?
