So basically, does exist any chance to see a big update or a project restart with a cleaned sourcecode? God damn, without this plugin, it will be soon impossible to play peacefully on a public server without massive monitoring from an admin.

Idea for the developers: Why not uploading the new versions to a Russian server, through a proxy server? Russia do not care the copyright laws.

With this, you will destroy the reputation of the entire Alliedmodders Community. The only options are the end of the dispute with Kigen, or a new anticheat project.

I don't know, but what about to contact the old steambans.com admins (now a dead project too)? They developed their own anticheat plugin. It can be a solution for a new project, until they used some Kigen sourcecode too.

The code for this project has been mirrored on several different foreign sites. These sites cannot, however, be linked to from here, as this is a violation of the DMCA.

The SMAC site has the source code for what was supposed to become SMAC 0.8.6.0... but it hasn't been touched in 4 months according to its mercurial tracker.
