On my LAN-host it's STEAM_ID_LAN too ;) So that doesn't prove anything.

The only definite SteamID you can say that it's a Non-Steam SteamID is if it starts with VALVE_.

Yes, but VALVE_ID_LAN is in Steam & NonSteam servers, on NonSteam only it displays only STEAM_ID_LAN to all players (sv_lan beeing -1, 0 or 1, at all cases displays the same)... anyway

about that other question, metamod version release year ?

That version (1.19) April 17th is from 2006 , but you need the the newest version (1.19p32) , October 8th 2007

ohh, it's a completly other source, it's rewritten or something (it says patch and optimized in the "meta version" cmd), I had no ideea, I'll use this also link for whoever needs it: http://metamod-p.sourceforge.net
