Need some help with trails

Hello!

I am pretty good with photoshop & aftereffects and I have some really cool ideas for trails. My problem is that I don't know what software to use and how to get it onto the server. If anyone here knows how to, please feel free to tell me, thanks.

VTFEdit if they are texture files.

Alright. The guides on youtube are mainly for tf2 and css.. it's the same principle for csgo right?

Sweet. Do you know any good tutorials or should I just get on youtube and do some research? Basically I just want to create a new trail :p simple as that. Thanks for your replies.

I dont. I learnt through trial and error.

My advise is keep your import images big and scale them down in the vmf files.

It keeps them crisp.
