hi all,

I recently notice a strange trouble in our server:

Some applications are installed like stamm and hlstatsx, which use a web interface and sql tables.

When i want to check the steam profile of a player by clicking on his steamid in the web interface (stamm or hlstatsx), the displayed page of http://steamcommunity.com/profiles is in... russian!

when i open the steamcommunity.com from my client account, the page is in french, normal language.

It seems to be a problem with the config of steam installed on the server (linux) but i didn't find in the config file something that set the language...

Server is not located in Russia (!)

Any suggestions?

Have no idea why it could happen, as far as I don't know how exactly stamm/hlstatsx works.

If it's just steamcommunity.com page that is in the wrong language, there is a language drop-down in the upper right of the screen. It probably starts with the client's default language, not your server's.

Well , strange but now language is correct, without doing anything

I've had my default language change on it's own for some unknown reason a time or two.

Actually, this just happened to me when I clicked a link in some forums to a steamcommunity.com page - it was in Russian.
