Nevermind, my recodes did in fact work, and the HLstats I modified (which is run by the fellow I do the odd plugin work for) now tracks Machina penetration shots under "Weapons", and also tracks each Spy melee weapons' Backstab individually (I set it up as "backstab_knife", "backstab_saxxy", "backstab_voodoo_pin", etc).

As a rule of thumb if you have to ask then it is not right.

IDK if that is going to give errors but it will not work.

I changed the way HLX:CE reads the logs so that new events like that will not change how it gets in the DB.
