Hey, is there a way to make TraceAttack also hook explosive damage in HL2DM? I'm trying to add hitsounds to the hitgroups plugin (which uncoincidentally can't stop explosive damage...), and I've got everything I want except for that. I used the player_hurt event in EventScripts before, and except for the temporary cvar I used it was great, but ES really rather sucks for a lot of reasons (most particularly poor decision logic and no temporary variable storage X_X), so here I am with this.

The only explosive damage I've seen TraceAttack work on is a barrel blowing up. Grenades and SMG grenades do not trigger the hooked event. I don't know what's different about these, I haven't gotten that deep into Source's engine code to really find out.

I've hooked player_hurt, and it does show explosive damage, but it annoyingly doesn't contain any hitgroups. I wish there was a way I could view the path that different events take to see what could be used to modify what. How the hell does EventScripts do it? o_O Also, is there a way to get a list of the properties that an event has at runtime? Am I better off loading the corresponding .res file out of a GCF (and if so, which file and which GCF...)?

The first crash was caused by Mani or CS:S (SourceMod isn't even loaded). The second crash is caused by the hacks extension, so it looks like either that extension or the plugin using it was doing something icky.
As far as SourceMod bugs go, unfortunately I can't really label this as one because it's being caused by a third party extension. If you're interested in having it get fixed, attach the second .mdmp ("Steam1945722007_8_12T7_29...") to a post in this thread:

It probably not the extension itself, but a plugin using the extension. What plugin/s do you have that uses the extension?

I wanted to let you know that the hacks ext doesn't load on my build 1367. I know that it did load once upon a time in a different build but I didn't notice that it stopped working. I am running windows. And I don't think I can get a dump file because I don't have access to that directory. And I did install it right, its only 3 files and they are in the right places.
