L4D admin say sounds

I found many say sounds but is there any available compatible for left4dead?
(admin sounds)

I have tried every combination for sounds that I can think of.

I have tried .wav and .mp3 and none of them will play if they are not part of the default game I have no idea why they did that.

That is using every play cmd built into the game as well.

Even with sv_pure at 0 or 1 it will not work. So currently there will prob not be any admin sounds or other things such as that available.

Bit of an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone had found any that work with L4D? I have just tried to get saysounds working on my L4D linux server with no success. The plug in works great, but the sounds refuse to DL or play even if they are added manually.

L4D currently has no way to transfer custom content to the client.
