It it possible to make a mod that can force custom recoil on the guns in Day of Defeat Source.

I have tried to edit ctx files but that only changes the accuracy of the weapon.

The recoil values are in the ctx but when you change them it has no effect at all.

SO it would seem the recoil must be "hardcoded into the gam"e so the only way to override that is having some form of server mod im assuming.
