Yea the new 1.18 caused major choke for some users on our server so we went back to meta-p.

Question:
Will the newer version of meta-p be better than the old? I thinking yes but give the run down if ya would!

Metamod uses more resources, but it does a better job. If your resources are so low on your server that you can't take ~5% increase in CPU (tops), then you shouldn't be with that host / running it on that computer.

So Metamod is more stable than Metamod-p, I gather. I think the last Metamod-p may haev been causing the frequent crashes on my servers. Has anyone ran into trouble with this latest Metamod-p version?

...answered my own question...

Just crashed again. Looks like regular metamod for me!

p25 isn't so great :/ i must stay with p24 because when i put p25 i586 on debian system i get this error

Ok. Could you post your debug.log? And run server once with '+localinfo mm_debug 8 +log on'?
