Force binding to listing port 27005

When i open a second server(on the same host) it binds the listing port to 27006, this means it wont appear on the server browser?My router wont let me forward the port 27005 for 2 clients on the same network.I dont want to use different IP´s.
What to do about that?

Add this in your commandline startup.

Code:

-strictportbind -port 27015
-strictportbind -port 27016

Or whatever ports you want to force, you can also define your client ports: +clientport 27005

Note that client port and server port are different, you're describing clientport.

To answer your first question, you can use any port you want and it will list on the server browser. Assuming you don't try some bizarre port like maybe 80, I doubt that would work.

You can force the server to use specific ports using -port (TCP/UDP, used for server listing and RCON, default 27015), -clientport (used for incoming connections from clients, default 27005), and -sport (used to talk to Steam, a bug in older games adds one to this number, default 26900 / 26901).

STOP MODS!I marked the thread aleready link, i was sure i expectet a problem with the listing port but it seems to be fine, yes i know how to bind ports, 27015-27019 27040-...
