I'm a bit confused, I searched everywhere and there doesn't seem to be a thread or a sticky on the latest stable release, and I read somewhere that on the 7th of august will be the next release.

I would like to download the latest stable release, not the beta (which still has problems probably , thats why its a beta).

Where can i download the latest stable release? with instructions on what sockets etc... is required? There should be a sticky about this...thanks.

http://www.kigenac.com/KACSM/1.2/kigen-ac-pub.smx

The 1.2 branch is no longer Open Beta. It is now the official stable branch.

Also, in version 1.2.1.2. you introduced kinda bug that spams error logs with i.e.:

L 08/08/2010 - 18:17:49: SourceMod error session started
L 08/08/2010 - 18:17:49: Info (map "de_dam_facility_fixed") (file "errors_20100808.log")
L 08/08/2010 - 18:17:49: [SM] Native "IsFakeClient" reported: Client 13 is not connected
L 08/08/2010 - 18:17:49: [SM] Displaying call stack trace for plugin "kigen-ac-pub.smx":
L 08/08/2010 - 18:17:49: [SM] [0] Line 372, kigenac/commands.sp::Commands_CommandListener()

A fix in the upcoming version 1.2.1.3 would be nice

P.S.: I'm using latest versions MM, SM and KAC.

When is 1.2.1.3 going to be pushed? I've been sitting on the Google code repository so I could get started early. However, no patches have been applied.

It will be delayed again.

Its tough keeping interest in a project which others don't show interest in supporting but just using.

To be fair, people are donating. Some more than others, however for running a $300USD query server, it seems like quite a leap. A dedicated server from OVH could be rented for less than $50USD a month (100mbps switch, 3TB Traffic which is then lowered to 10mbps after this is surpassed. This is more than enough for a simple query server.).

That's $435USD in 3 months, which is absolutely awesome for a single plugin. The demand is there, KAC is quite popular. The server fees do seem to be a killer, though.

Please do not take any of this the wrong way

Ultimately, I have the dedicated box because KAC is a source of attacks. There are those that obviously don't like KAC because of what it does. Not too long ago the dedicated box was suffering under a 30Mbps DOS attack. Easy enough to stop any effect on the box. However, it shows that there are some determined people out there trying to take it down.

I've also been working on a new project to replace KAC. This new project is designed to be better than anything and independent of other plugins (SM/MM:S). Also working on a optional client-side addition to it as well. The dedicated box will make the center of this and the coming network I plan to create.

I need support from the community for this as I lack any good helpers.
