Hi all,

Forgive my noobness, but could someone please explain the process of compiling a plugin from source or point me to a resource that explains it?

Specifically, I need to compile cheater hater from source.. I have the latest dukemods and sm 1.1 on our server.

You need to put the sourcemod scripting folder somewhere on your computer, put the dukehacks include in scripting/include then drag the .sp to spcomp.exe. The compiled plugin will be in scripting/compiled.

Well, I did recompile the plugin and install it. I still have the same problem. My server runs Linux, would that make a difference? Do I have to compile the mod on a Linux box?

I've tracked down that problem. It crashes on loading if SELinux is enabled and correct permissions haven't been set on the dukehacks.ext.so file. If the extension is loading and your server is starting, it should work fine on Linux.
