This plugin contains support for the GeoIPCity sourcemod extension by GoD-Tony which adds extra player location based information and should be faster than the core sourcemod location information API. The extension is NOT required to run this plugin and if it is not present will use the default information provided by core sourcemod. Use the link above for more information on installing GeoIPCity extension.

Try to install GEOip

So, you are telling that, if the SourceMod integrated GeoIP is bugged, the third-party one could work?

The latest GeoCityLite dat file downloaded from that link gave me the same problem (Unknown Region in Unknown Country). The dat file is also half the size of the one I previously downloaded and installed in my server so it seems they made some changes that are out if the extension authors control.

Restoring an older copy of the GeoCity dat file solved my problem, once I get to a PC again I'll upload if for you.

getting it switched over to include colors.inc would be nice.

pretty easy todo, or use another colors.inc

After the big update a few weeks back, this is the *only* plug-in I can't seem to get working - it shows as being loaded when I list sm plugins in my console, but I am not getting any kind of connect message being displayed...

I've downloaded the plug-in again, and upped all the files to my server via FTP (over-writing all of the old files) - and maybe it is because it is only 70am here, but I am a little confused as to where the files from the directory named "source" from the plug-in I just downloaded are supposed to go in my server-side directories - I don't have a directory named "source" in my addons/sourcemod directory - do I create the directory under addons/sourcemod, or do the files in the "source" directory go somewhere else?

Thanks,

Coke

Ok, so I dumped SM / MM completely, did a fresh install with the newest stable snapshots (1.5.1-hg3916 / 1.10.1-hg863) and everything runs just fine *except* connect announce - I am getting no error logs, the plug-in shows loaded under sm plugins in console, but I still get no connect / disconnect messages or info - is there something I am missing?
