1v1 aka Knife Fight

Description:
This plugin offers a special one vs one fight when there is only one player left on each team. Currently, only a knife fight is offered

Requirements:
The weapons extension is required as of version 1.1. It can be found here.

Could you add a couple of features?
1. Make a noise, and tell everyone what the player picked. ( as is, I don't know if its even working.. )
2. Steal the chicken noise from knifep3n.
3. Teleport the players. ( teleport one to the other, and slap them to prevent them from being stuck together )
4. It would be really nice if you could add some bonuses to the winner. ( like knifep3n ) eg: 120% speed, 120% health, 16,000 cash...

I don't know what knifep3n is but most of those things are planned.

The next release will include optional bonuses and punishments. I could also add sounds fairly easily. I will look into the teleport thing.

Thanks dalto, my members where just discussing this last week the option for a knife fight. What about a challenge option, where a player can challenge an opposing player at any time?

I hear what you are saying, I think most players would respect the challenge if a message is displayed stating the challenge.

So basicly you want knifep3n for sourcemod?

knifep3n is an eventsscripts version of this, which was an evolution of another events scripts knife fight but the guy stoped supporting it so someone else picked it up. if you do a search with google it should flag up.

As highlighted above with the teleport you need to issue a 0 damage slap to the first player after storing their location for teleport so that when you teleport the second to them they don't materialise inside the first player. Problems with this are, if the first player is in an enclosed space then they may not be slaped away from where they were and the problem still ocurrs. Another issue with the way p3n implimented this is that player 2 may not accept, and just uses the fact player 1 was slaped out from cover to shot them dead.

I was thinking of addapting the knifep3n script to have pre-stored teleport locations for the knife fight for each map so that they always get teleported opposite eachother in an open part of the map but figured that someone would sourcemod something soon and that I would then look into doing something with that. At the moment I'm running knifep3n but I've disabled the teleports so they just find eachother but I'd be interested in migrating to a sourcemod option.

Thanks for all the ideas everyone. Expect a release with a lot of new features this week. I had to stop and write an extension to support some of the things I wanted to do so thats why development has been a little slow on this.
