Is it really that hard to spend $1 per month for proper webspace? Please explain me why you guys just don't buy webspace, I don't understand it.
And don't tell me you can't purchase stuff online, there is webspace in every country offering the country recommended payment options.

You can install a webserver on the computer that is running the game server but it is generally a bad idea for people that are not hosting their server at a data center. This is because the bandwidth is generally not large enough on a residential connection to support both a game server and a webserver for fast download (most can't even do one of them).

Hosting a server to home is bad idea.
Having a server mean that your IP is static so your IP don't change all the time.

This also mean that DDOSers can make a fest to your server, since protection provided to user suck.
