Should we use the new beta sockets too?

You can use it with 2.3.1 of Sockets. Though I haven't tested my newest beta of KAC with Sockets 2.3.1 since I started working with sfPlayer. It should work fine though in theory.

I'm using the beta sockets and the latest beta of KAC and all seems to be going fine. With sockets loaded on the old stable version of KAC our Windows TF2 server would eventually crash out when it was full for a while.

Good work dude. If our server crashes again I'll let you know but it looks promising.

Hmm, stop by the N00bSalad servers for a while in the evening (for California). You'll see people get banned daily for the most part. But considering everyone throwing grenades everywhere you'd have to watch for it.

You'll see "Name here was banned by KAC for a cheating infraction." in chat and then they get removed by SourceBans.

Or you could just try and populate the server that your running KAC on and eventually there will probably be some cheater that tries to cheat on your server. They normally get removed within 5 minutes.

haha well of course I don't encourage it.

Just make sure it is running and eventually you will see a hacker get banned. I have seen it numerous times and I just run a small server.

I get one hacker every two months. People love my server too much to risk being banned. xD;
Oh and also because I have two cafe blockers. Yours, and the metamod one.

I'd say that's a pretty big firewall.

I'll move to make the Cafe blocking smarter some time soon. But most of NS's cheaters aren't using Cafe accounts (mainly they're blocked through my plugin) but instead are using legit accounts. Recently VALVe actually did something to help stop the problem with Cafe accounts.
