OK I'm a complete noob to handling my own server.... never had one before, never worked on one, hardly was even ever a admin for one.... Now my problem is, getting some of these plugins to works (ex: when they come with .amxx file, i put it in amx plugin folder, then add a line at the bottom of amxx.cfg with the plugin name) but sometimes {more then less} the plugin still dont work, even after i restart server and stuff.... Now I heard alot of people here talkin about "compiling" ??? I'm a bit confused... some help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

You put the .amxx file to amxmodx/plugins, then you open up
amxmodx/configs/plugins.ini and add the plugin name there.

When coder writes his plugin, he saves his source as *.sma file. *.sma file is source which can be compiled to plugin by AMX Mod X compiler or AMXX Webcompiler. Compiled source is already working plugin which is *.amxx file. When you put your someplugin.amxx to the plugins folder, then goto configs folder and find plugins.ini file. Just enter the plugin name complete at the bottom, save and change map or restart server.
