Steam validation rejected

Yo

I used to have a listenserver based on the things I dl'ed from l.Duke
Then I updated my sourcemetamod to 1.2 and I ran into the following popup : Steam validation rejected

Fun thing is:
Server is running, metamod works fine, pluggins loaded, BUT I CANT GO IN MY OWN SERVER!!

I can see it as a LAN server in the list (probably also as an internet server).

Anyone with the same problems?

Edit the bat file that starts everything and add +sv_lan 1 just before the +map de_map part.

Thanks for your quick reply, but ... it didn't help for me.
I also tried:
+sv_lan 0
removing all mm plugins from pluggins.ini

but didn't help me either. No one else with these problems?

Does it say "Established connection to Steam servers?" in console?

If not it may be because it hasn't established a conneciton to be able to verify your SteamID therefore you won't be able to go on.

Yes, it did manage to make a connection, because I can also see my server in the serverlist of Steam.

Yo,

your sourcemm.bat actually works for me too now!!

Problem for me was:

--> I had a hl2 plugin running as well.

I removed the hl2 plugin and now my metamod is running fine.
I cannot explain it, but maybe you guys might find out what is happening
when you run metamod AND hl2 plugins.
