I' ve just set up a cs:go-server and wrote a motd.txt. I put it on the csgo folder (the main folder with the maplist.cfg and mpcycle.txt, there was an empty motd.txt before).
I restarted the server. Connected! And no motd.txt is shown. I tried it with a simple one (attached). Doesn't work.
I tried to enter "/motd". Console is writing

Tried to look up command say as if it were a variable.

I used www.gidf.de for an hour. Nothing helped.

Is there anybody who can help me, getting a motd.txt to work.

I think motd.txt has been disabled by valve.
