I'm having problems with 2 (But mostly just one) of my CSS servers. Ever since they have been online, the srcds has been randomly freezing. When the SRCDS freezes, you can't type anything into the server console, server is offline, and needs a manual start up. I've researched a bit on this forum, and I found that Server Checker seems like a good substitute. What do you guys do to fix this or a program to prevent this?

how long is this freeze lasting? if it's same as ur sv_timeout, it's actually a crash

No its more like the srcds hangs for quite a bit (Can't put any commands in the server since the server is frozen, and it looks offline). I have to restart the server myself to get it back up. I've tried ServerDOC, I've tried using .bat restarters. They work for normal crashes but they don't work for srcds freezing.

well my host has this automatic thing that checks whether my server is online.. when it's been offline for a few minutes, it restarts it
why not try to fix the freezes tho, check logs n stuff?

Yeah thats the purpose of ServerDOC, which I use to try to prevent that. It restarts crashed servers well, but when srcds freezes, serverDOC doesn't do anything. I know its a issue that other people have had since I researched it, but theres no solution besides just paying for a software.
