This is intended to help those who can't differentiate between when to use the word NEED and the word WANT.

So often, you see people who are requesting a certain plugin or modification to a plugin and they say:

Code:
Please someone help, I NEED this plugin sooo bad!
when what they really mean is:

Code:
Please someone help, I WANT this plugin sooo bad!
It is understandable that these two words often get confused, so I hope this short Tutorial helps you understand when to use the correct word.

A need is something that you have to have; something that you literally may not be able to live with out. A good example of this is food. If you don't eat, you won't survive for long. Many people have gone days without eating, but they eventually either ate food, or died.

A want is something that you would like to have, maybe even something that would be good to have, but not something that going without will cause you to cease existing. A good example of this would be a requested plugin. Now, some people may argue that a certain plugin would be a need because they think they can't do without it, but you don't need a plugin to survive. You do need to eat.

So, next time you think you need something that is more of a want, please, go get yourself some because that is something that no man (or woman) can do without!

Hope this helps!!
