Simple question for you guys (and my last for the day this is number 3). Can someone post some code that will let me override the settings in server.cfg, gamemode_deathmatch.cfg, basically i want to be able to override the parameters set in the vanilla cfg folder, /cfg

Assuming this is CSGO and that Valve hasn't broken it, it allows you to override settings in the various gamemode files using gamemode_deathmatch_custom.cfg gamemode_deathmatch_server.cfg (where deathmatch is the game mode you're overridding).

It's gamemode_deathmatch_server.cfg not gamemode_deathmatch_custom.cfg

No idea where I got custom from.
