I figure it's the Pinion code that is still in the motd so even without the Pinion.smx loaded it's generating impressions.

However that still does not explain the impressions received when I know the server is empty.

Only one server had Pinion installed.

1. If your server map doesn't restart. Unload the plugin
2. Restart your whole server
3. Go into pinion and look at the server ip of where those impressions came from. Email pinion with that ip and they will look into it.

Maybe you have a server that still has the plugin but some people still go on that server. Add me on Steam and i'll see if i can help you out.

I only have one server listed in Pinion Control panel.
Only one CS:S server was running the Pinion plugin.
I removed the plugin on Friday, however the motd still has the Pinion code link.
My server gets no traffic until 6:00pm most days,
so the traffic showing up early in the am over the last 5 days is very odd.

The html code in the motd must still be showing users video.

So you didn't remove the HTML Ad code from your MOTD and you find it odd why it's still showing ads?

No I find it odd that it's still showing and registering impressions.
That would mean that the pinion plugin would only be required for initial setup.
then after you could potentially remove the plugin.

The plugin gathers additional data, enforces the timeouts and (for recent versions) handles directing clients to the ad page - before this it just overwrote motd.txt with the correct URL (and before the plugin existed you just had to do that yourself).
