One more question, seems that a small few people (now me for some reason) cannot see the decals on every map. Some maps I see them, some maps I dont (the ones that are saved already). If I spray a new decal, I can see it, but the old ones do not show up for me.
Almost everyone can see them (I've added our clan logo to every map in the rotation), but a few can't.

Is there a command to make them visible client side?

What sv_pure you use on your server?

In CSS. Some times, when you connect first time to your server, the mapadverts not showed. If you use sv_pure 1 or 2. And when you come from another server, who use sv_pure 2 or sv_pure 1 with a different pure_server_whitelist.txt .
If you hate this, use the stripper source, and add your mapadverts with that metamod plugin. That plugin ignore this problem for me.

I'm having a problem with this on my CSS Server, but it works great on CSGO Servers. It used to work, but now none of the decals show up, and I get an odd error when I try to paint new decals. If I type sm_paintdecal with an incorrect decal name then it will tell me that this decal doesn't exit. That is exactly what it should do. HOWEVER if I type sm_paintdecal with the correct name it says sm_paintedecal unknown command

Why does it seem to work properly until you try to use it correctly? If I type sm_savedecal it correctly tells me that there is no decal to save.

I set sv_pure to 0 on the server I was testing this on.

Any idea what is going on?

Having some problems with this. More often then not, when a client connects they cannot see the decals. However once they reconnect, or the maps reloaded/changed, the decals become visible again. My tf2 server is running sv_pure 0.



Any ideas?

Known bug if I recall correctly. If someone comes from a server that was sv_pure 1/2, they won't see custom things until they reconnect.

Im having a problem when adding the decals, i tried with different ones, including the example one, but they just doesn't show up..

any idea? i don't know if it's the server, or me...
But im able to see player sprays just fine and i have also played on servers where they had a rotating decal ect. so i should be able to see them.

The server is running sv_pure 0
