The Sockets module doesn't seem to be working after the HLDS update, am I right? Plugins like xRedirect and http downloader stopped working due to this. Just wondering if its only me or everyone and if someone is working on this?

If you're refering to the xRedirect plugin, yes, that works again since the author found a workaround.

Try recompiling the plugin and see if it still works, or you can always reinstall amxmodx, thats what i did and all the Sockets module plugins required and socket module itself owrks

Ok i see soimething now.

When writing amx_plugins in console i get the following:
"Load fails: Module/library "httpdl" required for plugin. Check modules.ini"

I reinstalled amxmodx.

Sockets modules is enabled in modules.ini

I compiled with the httpdl library (without it, it doesnt compile)

I have latest amxmodx version.


What else could be wrong?

socket module works fine, the most plugins (like xredirect) are broken because valve changed the server protokoll

after an update which is released xredirect works fine.

is still not working for me even with the hackziner sockets module.

Still get "bad load" in amx_plugins.
