I am wondering if anyone has seen this problem before. Everytime Someone disconnects from the server and most of the time when someone connects there is a quick lag spike. Its not network lag though its server lag. The fps on the server drops to about 10 for this quick second and then goes back up to 500. When this happens everyone playing notices a spike.

Check if any of those plugins is using SQL in non-threaded mode. This is probably the problem.
If you are not lazy search in .sp files in "scripting" folder for these words: "SQL_Query" and "SQL_FastQuery". If you will find such .sp file then you will know which plugin is lagging.

ok so you think it may be a plugin using a local database on the server? its a fresh install I reinstalled everything, and moved to a different box even, I have been trying to hunt this problem down for ever.

I am wondering if it could have to do with a latency between my webhost and my game server, something to do with hlstats or sourcebans.

But I am going to look through my .sp files would probably be easier to just disable all plugins and see if it stops wouldnt it? then enable one by one and see which one is causing it.

Tough call.

I dont think hlstats or sourcebans would do that.

You might have to just go through removing 1 plugin at a time until it stops if you cant figure it out though.
