Got any suggested feature or improvements for 1.2.0?

Note: Please do not say things like "detect this hack" or what-not. Its not really helpful to point out specific hacks. This thread is for overall features that people would like to see in 1.2.0.

I modify the source code for my own needs and i don't want to be FORCED to do this when i don't have time but KAC just got updated.

Likewise, we're running customizations to adapt our own IRC interface. Having it 1.2.x autoupdate would delete those customizations.

Would rather update manually so I can merge changes each time.

How about exposing some sort of API from KAC that you can build your own custom plugins around?

That way KAC can be auto-updated to keep your server secure from the latest threats and also you'll be able to use KAC in the way you wish.

Please note that there will be a auto-update to 1.2.0.4 on Monday around noon.

What would you guys like to do with KAC? What are you guys doing with KAC?

It'll help me gain ideas for the API.

1) Having the choice between kick & ban punishment for each commands without to edit sourcecode.

2) A ban system management across servers, with no php interface required to set it up, and easy configs (we can set up if only console bans are logged into mysql, if only permanents ban should be logged to sql)

3) A customisable kick delay when a mysql banned client join the server.

4) If a client join the server 3 times in 20 seconds, he gets ip banned with a customisable delay, or kicked with a warning message.

5) A report me those lamers feature. You can set IP or names, and if KaC see one of those log into the server, he'll log it into a custom log file. (Some lamers who gots banned by steam id, has more than 10 accounts that they stole to 12 years old kids by asking them their password for free cheats or fake valve admin) (it's the most important feature I need, if you didn't get what I mean because of my english, please ask me to repeat)

6) A cvar to set the locations of every custom logs of KAC, so it wont be a security hole with the upload exploit still not fixed. (logs are the only things that you need to give write access on the server)

We don't ban people with KAC directly. If they commit cvar violations we let KAC log them and we forward them to IRC (our IRC plugin is not yet public). We want them to dig a hole for themselves that they cannot argue out of.

Would be nice to have an option to turn off actions in general and another to have a registered callback or a forward that KAC calls when it gets a mark.

Also would be nice to control KAC's output so the cheater's don't know they're being watched.
