How Do I Get CS 1.6 Models To Work w CSS

I have all of my old CS. !,6 custom player models i.e. ICS, Slows, that worked with CS 1.6. I already have them in the Custom\my_custom_stuff folders but they don't seem to have a .vmf file tag. I do see .mdl file tags on the along with other files. The custom models files that do work only have the .vmf tag. How can I use them with the latest Counter Strike Source Game?
