Hello! It appears that my server isn't VAC secured even though I checked VAC using the checkbox and added -secure to launch parameters. I found out from looking at my server via the LAN section where there's no VAC icon and it says not secured on server info. When I join, the loading screen does acknowledge VAC being enabled. I'm currently using the SteamCMD version of this.

Type status into the server console or rcon (sm_rcon) status into the client console while being connected to the game server and it will print if secure or not next to the version.

It says
Quote:
version : 5394425/24 5394425 secure
but still on the serverlist, it says that it's not secure. Is this some kind of bug?

Do you mean the lan tab in the game and can you post your launch options?

My launch options for SRCDS are: -secure -game cstrike +maxplayers 20 (i used to not have -secure on it but don't really notice a difference)

This is for Internet and it still says the same as the quote I have provided for the version using sm_rcon status.

I tried that first and then added -secure to it.

It appears that -secure actually worked one time and I had a STEAM validation rejected but I mean the version without -secure still said secure beside it so I am not quite sure.

If you're using "non-steam" that's why you will not get help. =)
