also, have you tried getting players to use the sb_takecontrol command? if you use it in the console type in the name of a bot, supposedly it causes crashes but I'd likea confirmation.

Correct, no other issues other than the minor bot takeover issue. I will give that command a try tonight during our nightly l8d game.

Been using 1.4.1 and it works great.

I only see 2 things "needed" that you are probably already looking into, increase max players to 8 and make it so you can execute this in a non VS game.

But I Try 1.4.3 anyone go in to the server will be auto change the 4co-op mode and only for 4 get in ?
i think only look for how to get in the not full server .that was very very good^^
i'm pulgin sm_away in the same time on 1.4.1 still can use just go to the console type jointeam 2 can get in so easy .but if the server start l8d cant get in that is i really wanna can soft .anyways really thanks the pulgin nice

List your metamod/sourcemod versions and plugins.

he didn't pay attention to the post informing him he needs to use !addbot to get bots put into the server, then get players to use !joingame to join into them. not to mention they probably do not have L4D Versus Tools installed.

Test Candidate #2.
-All errors should be fixed.
-Spectate console command now forces player to go_away_from_keyboard (thus not doing anything if you're the ONLY player alive)
-Improved bot removal
-Hopefully improved bot joining
-Should inform a player they cannot join survivors if there is no living bots
-Modified plugin so it should fully disable itself when using !l8d_disable.

Unfortunately after at least 3-4 hours of testing, I found that sb_takecontrol does not work the moment you have more than 4 survivors. It tries to give you control of the first instance (the originals) and will not work for clones.

Edit: I've had a few ideas on how I might be able to trick it into working and I'm experimenting on them.

Edit2: Over 30 views and nobody posting any information if this has fixed anything? it'd be nice to get some details from you people!
