Mattie's NewbieBoost
Download: http://mattie.info/cs.
Platforms: Windows, Linux
Beta Test Server: 207.36.209.213:27015.
Description: NewbieBoost is a Counter-Strike: Source add-on that gives handicaps to players with really low scores to help even the playing field. This makes things more challenging for veteran players and keeps new players in the game long enough to enjoy themselves. NewbieBoost also supports penalizing players with really good ratios to help challenge expert players.

To Do List:
Quote:
1. Publish newest source code for NewbieBoost.
2. Finish configuring forum.
Requested Features: Reported Bugs:
Quote:
1. First round, 0 and 1 players get boosted. Not really logical.
Workaround: Perhaps EventScripts can help? Run a "mattie_ newbieboost 0" at map start and then maybe run a "mattie_newbieboost 1" when any team score (team_score.cfg) is equal to 2?

If you're running the latest NewbieBoost, though, just add the following server variable to your autoexec.cfg file and it should work fine:

newbie_cflags 870
