I fixed Amoto's mod so it doesn't permaban tempbanned players anymore.

Got a question for the devs. What is the license for the web interface? I'm seeing "All Rights Reserved" on the header comments for the files currently being distributed.
This seems to go against what I'm seeing is required by multiple parties including these forums (which apparently require GPLv3 for plugin approval, source here) and Google Code project hosting (which also requires that the entire project be licensed as Open Source, source here).

Can this be clarified?

EDIT: After 3 days of waiting with no answer, I've decided to notify Google anyways about the questionable nature of the project's licensing.

Is it possible to only allow admins to ban for a certain length of time?

You should ask them these questions on their website.

I have just finished researching for about 5 hours on this because it showing in 1 of our 8 servers.
This is just my opinion, but i think this is related to a hacker spoofing info.

i have posted in the bugreports at sourcebans and also sent in a long message to valve explaining how i found this and what i'm seeing in the logs.
Something like notepad++ will not see it. i used pspad to find the issue.

it seems to add something in there name which will bump the next letter or number to the next space in the line.
for example in a log the line would look something like this.

Code:
L 08/04/2011 - 17:50:44: "playernamehere<1299><STEAM_0:1:123456><>" connected, address "playeriphere:27005"
Normally the id would be like this: STEAM_0:1:123456
but on the hackers id it will add a < sign to the start of there steam id when coping it, so it would look like this: <STEAM_0:1:123456

I'm not going to explain more here, but if the dev's want to PM me i will provide a log to support this.

Seems my SteamID is being spoofed, i've had 2 people banned so far with my steamID and exact name BUT i didn't ban them. I'm not sure how they did it BUT i added a password to use commands for myself just in case. :/

Nevermind it doesn't seem to sending info to the database. It bans them locally but it doesn't show up on sourcebans.

Hey guys,

I'm an administrator for Surf-Infamous and we are currently running a Trouble in Terrorist Town server for Garry's mod. The problem is as of lately, the banning doesn't work with Sourcebans. We have tried everything to get it working, people will connect to the server when they are shown banned still on Soucebans. Is it possible if you could get this fixed? At the moment, we are using basebans.smx enabled and sourcebans.smx disabled until it works. It would be appreciated if you guys can help me out, thanks.

Just saying 'tried everything' doesn't help.
