And you have problem with install server Counter-Strike 1.6 with SteamCMD?I can`t install server, because give me some error, server can install just engine.Problem is for three days ago.

Login using your steam account, do not use anonymous login, this will fix the known bug on SteamCmd. make sure use "validate".

I was working with Alfred Reynolds on this problem a week ago... until he stopped responding to my emails.

Incidentally, SteamCMD hasn't been updated since August 14th:

I can't tell you what command I used to get this because it's (intentionally?) not a public command and one Alfred sent me via email. At least I'm assuming it's not a public command as it uses non-ASCII characters and appears to be intentionally obfuscated.

Well, if Valve intended it to be public, it'd be the "version" command like it is on hlds and srcds.

If you try version on SteamCMD, it just spits out:

>>> command not found: version

What the hell kind of response is that? Have you no respect? You don't need to know the version of the tool because it always downloads the latest version when you run it.
