i have done evrything i can. i cant get my server up? I tell my frends the ip and they cant find it. I even got it up and went to my frends house to find it, but i couldnt. so sumbody plz help me. Thanks!

if you have a router open the port 27015 and forward it to your
internal ip.

if you have a firewall, allow the port 27015.

i dont use either. my firewall is not connected. so that cant be making it malfunction. if u hav any more advice plz help me.

r u sure ur giving them the right ip.. if you connect to ur server ur using ur local ip

make sure the IP address you are giving your friend is NOT 192.168.x.x

*where x is any number 1-255

(that is a local ip address and NOT a public one)

well then how do i change the ip. cuz mine says 192.168.1... how do i change that? thenks for the info

Try using www.gametiger.com or the like to search for your server then give your friends that ip. You cannot change your local ip to an external ip, they are two different things.

neither of those sites helped me. in case u dont know, which probably is an important, im trying to run a CZERO server. The other site wuz for internet ip. So i dont knoe.
