I set a schedule tasks under administrator in windows server. So i have the service running at start because after rebooting HLDS shows in the task manager. However my problem is with the parameters. I set the arguments exactly the same way i have in my .bat file or as i would with using the hlds shortcut method to start the server in console mode. The program starts but no parameters are executed even though i've set the proper fields in Task schedule.

set to run under administrator
runs fine via .bat file
same problem wether logged onto administrator account or user account
havent tried firedaemon
arguements: -console -game cstrike +hostname "test" +map de_dust2 +maxplayers 32 -autoupdate -exec server.cfg +motdfile motd.txt +logsdir logs

I use HLSM to manage this, maybe it'll work for you too

sweet, thanks. Definitely beats task scheduler and daemon tools.
