As connor said, using prethink is really a bad idea. You flood the player with messages and will result to lags and looks ugly.

Why you don't simply use TE_BEAMENTS ? You would not need to use Prethink, you could put the life to the max (255), managing the beam on some events and the result will be smooth because handled by the engine. For sure, the beam won't be exactly on the head but near. It's a fair compromise I think.

Try to improve the plugin. Use a more appropriate/intelligent method.
