It still works and all you need to make this work is with the use of character switching plugins but only if you force the survivor set in any campaign to load up the L4D2 survivors.

Also, as written in the first post, this is for Windows only since Linux doesn't have this issue.

Yes I use windows but i'm trying to find a plugin that allows all 8 survivors in one map. I haven't found any as of late.

Have you tried Lux's Character Manager? I use that along with SuperVersus to spawn all 8 survivors in every map.
