Is this plugin supposed to also fix people joining directly from the Steam Group Server list? There is a bit of an oddity when it comes to that, plugin cvars are return to default until the next map.

No this specifically fixes the buffer overflow breaking cvars.

Yes, after the latest csgo update, this plugin doesn't work anymore.
