I've always had the feeling HLSW has been a sort of dying project. I never really followed the forums but when I did check them, there were a lot of old posts and not much recent activity. The program is used a ton though, so it's a bit odd.

ohh yeah I saw the same thing..in fact the most recent posts are about this problem. I registered and have yet to get a email confirmation, same with registering the program to use. I saw a mobile app but I don't think I'd dare to fool with it, kinda happy with just the checkvalve app as of now.

the service is back online as of now so the temp fix is no longer needed.

Been looking around for an alternative to HLSW but cant find much...

Its a great program but it shouldn't be dependent on their servers or site to be operational. The program gets logs from point A to point B I just don't see why you have to have C running in order to use that - too bad there isn't a way to adjust the code or remove a certain file in the installation to avoid it.

The 'C' is server that gives HLSW your public ip. In my opinion this is the weakest link of HLSW.
