I recently got photoshop cs3 but i dont know jack about it

That's not bad for a first sig. Try adding a border to it and maybe some brush strokes to the bg.

I know fonts.
if you use vista download a font from example dafont.com and right press the file and press install its that easy on vista and on xp you have to copy the files in to

C:\WINDOWS\Fonts
