Yep weak link and one that they don't need.. the program can be so much better without that link.

Uh, it actually /is/ needed in lots of cases.
Although UPnP can be used for the same purpose nowadays for most.

Being that it is required in such a matter you would thing some redundancy so the downtime wouldn't be so severe.

I wrote this last year, but I don't currently have any release plans.
It'll become the client for SourceVoice, once I get around to finishing that project.

My apologies for necroing a thread but nonetheless I feel this is still a valid issue. I am experiencing this and the above method of "logaddress_add xxxxxxxxxx:7130" which has indeed worked for me before on my laptop with HLSW (currently in offline mode)now does not. HLSW itself seems yet again to be borked for online usage so in offline mode for now to no avail.

Interestingly enough, if I use my LAN address for my server listing and do the "Get Log (LAN)" command, it works. Anyhow for the record, I've been out of the channels for awhile now until just recently when I began tinkering with a L4D2 server for my own usage and would like to know if there is a better app for source server administration, thanks everyone.

theres a newer thread for this, and this is 1 of the solutions https://forums.alliedmods.net/showth...65#post2208165

but if you found a way that works, what seems to be the problem? offline mode means no access to buddy list, which i don't think any1 uses anyway

Hi, thanks for the response, I couldn't remember my login info and never got an email back from them for a reset go figure . I did recall however when online, all was needed was to use this command:

logaddress_add xxx.xx.xx.xxx:7130 with opening ports 7130-7139
