We could really use a plugin that can perm mute a player or perm silence them. We get people who are great at playing the game, but their mouths aren't the greatest. Maybe having their steam ID to a local file on the server is best. Having it through mysql may be too much, but not discouraged.

sm_permmute (nick or steam id)
sm_permsilence (nick or steam id)
sm_permgag (nick or steam id)
Note: it keeps the ban by steam id, not nick.

I agree. I requested this a while ago too. Please no mysql. Just maybe ad an option to silencing for like 1 hour, 2 hours, perm,1 day etc like bans maybe.
