I don't know if anyone else extracts the sprays out of their downloads directory on the server, but it would be so useful if I can have the data on the player name of the spray owner. Filenames look like "c7914e32.dat", which is apparently a hex representation of a CRC done on... I dont know what. If I can match up the sprays to the player names (and maybe steamid too in case they change their name).
Its understandable if nobody cares about this, I'm probably the only one that bothers with sprays, they're mostly stupid anyway.

BTW I made a tiny plugin that uses GetPlayerDecalFile, and hooks OnClientPutInServer and just saves the filename and steamid to the log. One buggy thing is, it will continously match up the wrong spray with the wrong person, but as far as I can tell, it never makes a mistake the first time a spray is seen. So all I had to do was take care to only honor the first time it logs a given spray, and so far it looks completely accurate.

Anyone seen anything like that before? I've never heard of anyone doing that on their server, though maybe thats due to lack of interest. Hey I get bored at work and like to laugh at funny sprays.
