Can someone explain me how to upgrade from 1.8.2 to 1.8.3, people told me to replace first base files,then cstrike files.. and when i restarted server version was still 1.8.2.. can anyone help

Replace all binaries. dlls, modules / *.dll/*.so - This includes amxmodx_mm and all modules. plugins/*.amxx - Any default plugins AMX Mod X comes with. data/GeoIP.dat - If you use GeoIP, make sure you update the database. Replace language files. data/lang/*.txt - Important to make sure plugins are using the right language phrases.

There is no AMXX 1.8.3 anymore. It's 1.9 now. Where did you even find 1.8.3?!

you should use 1.9 though if you want to upgrade

i fixed it.. problem was in my server, there were FILE LINK folders that i needed to delete then replace.. thanks anyway
