I dont know much about these guys

The only thing i know about them is that they bypass sourcebans and get our rcon passwords or whatever

And 1337 take over our server(s)

I wanted to see whats going on so i looked at there youtube channel and they aimbot too

Any fix to this exploit?
Before they cause more trouble

1) Disable sourceBans
2) Change ftp password
3) Check if unwanted files has been uploaded (to gain access to the ftp again), if yes delete it and change the ftp password again.

Add this line in server.cfg

exec yourbanlistname.cfg

Then create the file yourbanlistname.cfg and copy this into it :

banid 0 STEAM_0:1:29452626

And don't forget to check your plugin's folder, and files in your config folder too.

Nothing in either of the videos validates that SourceBans is to blame for your [HellsGamers] servers being hacked.

If this was due to SourceaBans, the issue would be much more escalated then just one community getting targeted. SourceaBans is too widely used for something like this to only happen to a single community.

As said in previous topics as well, make sure you have the latest version of SourceBans installed. There was an old version with a known exploit that could compromise your servers. As far as I know, HellsGamers has the latest though.
